417 Eventing

417 Eventing Logo

We have a small but mighty group of eventers in Southwest Missouri (area code 417). 417 Eventing was developed to foster unity between the area barns.

417 Eventing is a fusion of Edge of the Road Farm, Roseshine Farm, Heritage Livestock, Stone Ridge Eventing Springfield Riding Club, JJ Eventing and more. Each of these facilities is located within a 45 minute radius of the greater Springfield, Missouri area.

Our riders and instructors support each other locally and at competitions throughout the nation. We foster camaraderie with social events, philanthropic endeavors, joint clinics and even shared instruction.

417 Eventing Supports Girls on the Run of Southwest Missouri

417 Eventing got some great PR for Girls on the Run at the Rolex Rk5k and were even featured in Eventing Nation.

The team of eventers age 9-40 something signed on as Girls on the Run SoleMates to help raise funds and awareness of the program.  Girls on the Run (GOTR) inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience based curriculum which creatively integrates running. GOTR envisions a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams. www.gotrswmo.org

We worked together to get each of our girls to the finish! It was exciting to hear the enthusiasm from the announcer and spectators as each GOTR SoleMate crossed the finish line.

Congratulations to:

Be Brave! A great reminder to our horses and riders who tackle the challenges of cross country, or the intimidation of the white rectangle or the even scarier striped poles.

Eventing requires both horse and rider to Be Brave! Girls on the Run is teaching young girls to pursue their dreams, be passionate, be strong and Be Brave too!

Remind yourself, and your friends to tackle life full force and Be Brave with the beautiful Bravelets. $10 from each Bravelets purchase from our Brave Page is directed towards Girls on the Run of Southwest Missouri.Learn more about Girls on the Run at gotrswmo.org
