Stone Ridge Eventing relocated to the east side of Springfield, MO in the winter of 2019. The 26 acre property will feature a 4 stall barn, 210 ft x 165ft outdoor riding arena and cross country course.
Cross country will include Starter through Novice courses with upper level questions available to school at lower heights. Plans include a bank complex, Weldon’s wall, coffin, mound and water complex. The terrain does not offer the steep hills of the original Stone Ridge, but provides the opportunity to set more gallopy courses with good variation in terrain.
Stone Ridge East will host open schooling days intermittently throughout the year. Watch the Stone Ridge Eventing Facebook page for notification of dates.
Cross-country schooling and arena usage may also available by appointment. Contact Cynthia at 417-880-4567 for details and to schedule.
The front portion of the property included the barn, a full stadium jumping course and Flashpoint Arena, a lighted 200ft x 120ft outdoor riding ring. The back of the property includes three ponds and is prime habitat for bobwhite quail, deer and turkey. Trails and galloping paths traverse the natural grasslands.
Stone Ridge Eventing is also pleased to offer a schooling cross-country course for Starter Novice through Novice, the bulk of which has been provided by Mark Andreasen of Gerald, MO. In 2014, a small water complex, new inviting ditch, and two bank heights were added. A few Training and Preliminary level jumps were added to the course in 2015.
2017 brought an expansion to the water complex as well as the addition to an exciting mound complex. Visit Stone Ridge Eventing on Facebook to view photos of the course.
