417 Eventing GOTR Solemate Peyton- age 9
417 Eventing got some great PR for Girls on the Run at the Rolex Rk5k and were even featured in Eventing Nation.
The team of eventers age 9-40 something signed on as Girls on the Run SoleMates to help raise funds and awareness of the program. Girls on the Run (GOTR) inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience based curriculum which creatively integrates running. GOTR envisions a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams. www.gotrswmo.org
We worked together to get each of our girls to the finish! It was exciting to hear the enthusiasm from the announcer and spectators as each GOTR SoleMate crossed the finish line.
Congratulations to:
First Time 5k completions for Reagan & Jasmine who placed 21st and 33rd respectively in their age group.
Miriam (first time 5k competitor) and Mckenzie who both finished inside the top 10 in their age group.
Lawson who earned 2nd place in the 12-14 Division on a time of 21:46 (13th Overall Female)
Peyton who earned 2nd place in 11 and under with a 23:09 (29th Overall Female)
Coach Cynthia who set a PR of 20:08 and was victorious in her age division. (5th Overall Female)
